Middle Age was that stretch of time between the Fall of the Roman Empire and the Renaissance in Europe, from about the year 400 to about 1400. It is also called the Medieval period of Europe and sometimes the Dark Ages. Europe was never isolated but always connected to other civilization centers of the world. This course shows how each civilization faired during this period and how they related and interacted with each other. This course will use material from several sources, such as, PBS, History Channel, and Great Courses. Taught by various authors and facilitated by Fahim (Fred) Ahmed
