Explore & Play with Screen printing - tutors: Christine Felce & Siobain Drury

Here is an opportunity to explore Screen printing methods with tuition, 2 days will explore making stencils for screens, learning about simple registration, layering colour and the photo stencil method , whilst the middle day will be a playful look at experimenting wirth open screen work, using the expressive and painterly screen monotype techniques. This wide ranging approach supports both simple and more layered projects and designs making it suitable for both beginners and those looking to advance their skills.

Participants will be guided through each step of the process from transferring designs, cutting methods, registration techniques, inking and printing a small edition of linocut prints.’

We limit our course numbers to 6 - in order for you to get the most from our tutors and the facilities.

Terms and Conditions:
Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of the full cost of the course. If full payment is not made, you will not be allowed to start the course. We reserve the right to cancel the course at a weeks notice if there are less than 4 participants booked.

We will not be liable for any childcare, travel or accommodation fees lost due to cancellation by us.

Cancellation Policy:
The sum of £50, will be lost If you cancel at short notice (less than 2 weeks before the course start). If your place cannot be filled, no monies will be returned. Students on courses run in the downstairs studio will have access to both the upstairs and downstairs toilets.
Students will need to bring refreshments / lunches with them, but tea & coffee will be freely available.
