During this term we will continue last winter’s introduction to the fascinating field of Artificial Intelligence. Our narrators will be some of the current giants in today's evolving technology such as: Sam Altman - Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of OpenAI, Yann Le Cun - A Professor at NYU; VP and Chief of AI Science at META (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and Mustafa Suleyman - CEO of Microsoft AI. He has been prominent in the debate over the ethics of AI and the need for companies, governments and civil society to join in holding technologists accountable for the impacts of their work. Perhaps, with their guidance we will gain some insight into the future directions of this fascinating field. Dr. Joel Sturman will help guide us through this forest.
