Adaptive swim lessons are a pathway to achieving swim skill benchmarks such as increasing comfort with being in the water, going underwater, and swim stroke progression. We will assess, identify, and implement strategies to overcome roadblocks impacting successful and/or independent swimming. At both our indoor and outdoor locations, all of our instructors are adaptive swim instructor certified and lifeguards are on duty. Adaptive swim lessons are not aquatic therapy. Please note that although the lesson is 1:1, the pool may be utliized by others at the same time for other purposes.

Makeup dates if Chatham Adaptive Swim needs to cancel for Winter/Spring 2026 session are May 7, 14, 21 and June 6, 20 as needed.

PLEASE NOTE THIS TIME SLOT WILL HAVE MULTIPLE SWIM MEETS WHICH AFFECTS THE NOISE LEVEL AND PARKING.

If you want to use family support from Easter Seals or Gateway: It has been our experience that these agencies reimburse families after registration using our emailed receipt and registration confirmation, however please double check with your family support agency. We are happy to provide the documentation they require for your reimbursement.
