Watercolor Workshop
In this 3-hour workshop, we will explore and experiment with color theory and color mixing while learning foundational watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and dry-on-dry. Participants will work on a variety of paper surfaces and have the chance to play with creating unique textures. We will primarily work from enlarged photographs; students are welcome to bring their own reference images or choose from a selection provided by the instructor. For those who feel unsure about drawing, there will be an option to trace or transfer enlarged images onto watercolor paper. Drawing guidance and composition suggestions will also be offered. This workshop is geared toward beginning and intermediate artists. All supplies are included, though participants may bring their own watercolors if they prefer.
A minimum of 6 students is required. If the workshop does not meet the enrollment minimum, you will receive a full refund.
Please note: These workshops are non-refundable after registration for any reason. If something unexpected comes up, you’re welcome to transfer your registration to a friend. Thank you for your understanding, our instructors purchase materials in advance, and registrations are limited.
