Marian St Theatre for Young People

New and continuing students living with an intellectual disability aged 18+.

An accessible drama class for up to 8 young people aged 18+ who are living with an intellectual disability. Participating with others in a fun, inclusive and creative environment with drama exercises and improvisation games that give young people an outlet for their creative expression, build confidence and develop communication skills.

No prior drama experience necessary.

Students will be working towards a performance of Drizzle Boy by Ryan Ennis, which will be presented to the public at the end of Term 1!

Please note that towards the end of Term 1, classes will be held at Ku-ring-gai Town Hall, as this will be the performance venue for Drizzle Boy. We will be in touch in advance to notify families of the specific dates. Please ensure your email address is entered correctly so you receive all correspondence.

On-site parking is available at Ku-ring-gai Town Hall or it is a 10 minute walk from Pymble station.

Term 1: Monday 9th February – Monday 30th March (8 weeks)

Term 2: Monday 4th May – Monday 29th June (no class Monday 8th June – King’s Birthday) (8 weeks)
