If you watch social media stained glass groups you know how popular this project is! Join us in creating these lovely stained glass feathers. They look a little complicated but we’ll show you how to put all the pieces together and create a hanger for this graceful project. These are a great way to use small bits of leftover glass. Once you have created this one with us you can create endless variations; try different sizes, bird feather patterns, and color schemes! We will send you four different patterns for the project and you will cut and grind your glass BEFORE class. In class we will foil, solder and finish your project. You can make as many feathers as time allows in class!

Please bring the following items that we will use in class (also available for purchase at Harmony):

  • Copper foil (black back preferred)
  • Soldering tools – iron, stand, flux cup & brush (rent from Harmony for $8)
  • Soldering supplies (solder, flux, patina, wax)
  • Safety Glasses

Just finished Beginning Stained Glass and looking for a new project? Longtime glass maker looking for a fresh new project? This class is perfect for everyone!

Please wear long cotton pants and closed toe shoes, and bring safety glasses if you own them.

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony when needed for your class. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

THE FINE PRINT - Terms apply to all classes at Harmony Stained Glass.
By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and AGREE to these terms:
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared. Please put your phone on silent so that it won’t disrupt the class.
2. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you. Seven days advance notice is required to cancel your participation in a class. With seven days notice, you will receive Harmony store credit for your tuition. With less than seven days’ notice, tuition is forfeit. No refunds or credits will be offered in the case of a no-show on the day of class.
3. Classes with guest artists are never refundable unless we can fill your space. A $100 cancellation processing fee will apply to any refund that is issued.
4. In the event of a class cancellation by Harmony, you will receive a full refund.  
5. Typically a class reminder is sent as a courtesy, but it is your responsibility to remember your class date and time and to arrive prepared.
6. Class participants must be at least 13 years of age unless specified otherwise in the class description. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paid) guardian.
7. Participants give permission for Harmony Stained Glass to take and use photographs which may include their image or artwork.
8. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long cotton pants.
9.Everyone who is present for a class must be enrolled in that class.
10. If the class is "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Harmony are permitted.
11.Class projects not picked up after three months will be considered abandoned and will not be retained.
