Join us for an engaging orientation session designed to help you start the semester with confidence.

This session will walk you through the essentials of teaching at Loyalist, including an overview of the myLoyalist portal, guidance on navigating course outlines, and a review of key academic policies every faculty member should know. We’ll also highlight important sessional dates to support your planning and provide an introduction to our learning management system, Canvas, to help you get your courses ready for students.

Participants can attend this session in-person or online.

For online participants, this is a fully interactive training which requires a distraction free environment and a computer with camera, microphone, and stable internet connection. To receive compensation and recognition for this training, cameras must remain on for the duration of the training, and participation through microphone, chat, and breakout rooms is required.
