Learn how to hand-build in clay during this fun 4-week course! Hand-building utilizes a variety of techniques done without the potter's wheel, such coiling, pinching, and using slabs. Hand-building can be used to make both functional pottery and sculptural pieces.
While this class is suitable for total clay beginners, it can also accommodate more experienced clay workers who want help with their clay projects. Instructor Maranda Powers can help you realize any hand-building ideas you have in mind!

- Students may return to the Clay Center during Open Studio to finish pieces started in class for one month following the last class day of their registered class.
