Christian Walking Club

A city break and tour at a discount price. We will be staying at Manna House, Bromley, South London. Please pay the manager £140 by cash or cheque. This venue is run by Operation Mobilisation and is their hospitality house for missionaries travelling through London to their field of service. However, in Jan / Feb it is quiet so can be used by anyone with a missions interest. Rooms have bunk beds and single beds so we can accommodate 4 female and 3 male members on the event at a discount of just £40 per night. A self catering breakfast is included and free milk and sandwich fillers. Main meals are possible but we will eat out on all three days.

Sat 14th Feb. Meet at 11 am Platform 5 entrance , Euston station. We will then travel by tube to Kensington and Knightsbridge and tour that area. Brief stop at the V and A, Natural History Museum and Brompton Oratory. We will then move over to Greenwich have lunch and visit the Old Royal Naval College. Returning then to Euston. We will be joined by around 5 day walkers who will then leave us. Walking about 6 miles during the day. Then travel to our accommodation in Bromley arrive by 8pm. You will need purchase a tube day pass to include travel to Bromley plus finance for lunch if you like a main meal. 15 people max on the day walk will be allowed.

Sun 15th Feb. Leave 915am. Day 2 we will join the 10.30am London walk from Monument tube station this will explore the essentials of the city this is described as the classic London walk. From past experience they are A1 excellent with lots of explanation cost is £15 for seniors more for under 65. We will then have a second meal and explore Hyde Park and Green park aiming for evensong at Westminister Abbey. Then walking down the Southbank before returning to Bromley. You will need to purchase a tube day pass to include return travel to Bromley plus finance for lunch if you like a main meal. Walk about 7 miles in total

Monday 16th Feb. Leave by 10am. We will explore and walk in Richmond Park and then on to Kew Gardens in the afternoon. Today you may choose to have sandwiches at lunchtime, we will return to Euston or your preferred destinations for onward travel. We will have an evening meal if anyone wants to join that. Please bring finance as previous days. Walk about 6.5 miles in total.

I will read up on the activities and plan carefully so we can keep to accurate timings whilst still enjoying the days..
