Our regulated qualifications are awarded through Qualsafe Awards. We aim to make a positive difference within the industry and inspire others to do the same. Training incorporates realistic, recognisable scenarios relevant to your sector, delivered by serving frontline Paramedics and experienced clinical instructors. We utilise visual and kinaesthetic training aids to reinforce key concepts and ensure skills are retained.

JWC First Aid will work in partnership with you to identify your specific needs and objectives, ensuring a full understanding of your learning goals. Courses can be delivered at our dedicated training site—designed with high-quality learning in mind—or at your workplace, saving time and reducing additional travel costs. Additional learning support can be provided upon request.

Every learner attending our FREC Level 3 programme will receive:

  • A notebook
  • A pen
  • A trauma reference book (loaned for the duration of the course and returned at the end)
• A learner welcome pack (“goodies pack”) on arrival
• Full access to all training equipment needed throughout the course
• Practical scenario-based learning delivered by frontline clinicians
• Continuous support from clinical instructors throughout the programme
• Guidance and assistance with written and practical assessments

Intended Audience

The Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) qualification is ideal for those looking to work or volunteer as a first responder. First responders are often among the first to arrive at an incident and may include:

• Police officers
• Firefighters
• Emergency or Community First Responders
• Door Supervisors and Close Protection Operatives
• Security Personnel
• Event Medics and Festival Safety Teams
• Those working in high-risk environments such as the military, agriculture, manufacturing, or power stations

Course Overview

This hands-on, informative 5-day course meets the competencies defined within the PHEM (Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine) Skills Framework at Descriptor Level D. It provides the knowledge and practical skills required to manage a wide range of pre-hospital emergencies.

The Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 3 RQF) qualification includes:

Payment & Cancellation Terms

By booking a course with JWC First Aid Ltd, you agree to the following terms:

• Deposits are non-refundable once a place is confirmed.
• Cancellations within 3 days of the course start date will not be eligible for a refund.
• Full course fees must be paid before attending, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Non-attendance on the day of the course is charged at 100% of the course fee.
• Course places are non-transferable without prior written agreement.
• Requests to transfer to another course date must be made more than 7 days in advance. Transfers within 7 days may incur an administration fee and depend on availability.
• If JWC First Aid Ltd cancels or reschedules, learners may choose a full refund or a free transfer to another date.
• Learners must ensure they meet all prerequisite requirements (if applicable) before attending.
• Certificates will only be issued once full payment has been received and all course elements successfully completed.
