We work closely with organisations and individuals to understand specific learning objectives, ensuring that training is aligned with industry operational needs. Courses may be delivered at our professional training centre or onsite at your workplace to minimise disruption and reduce travel time. Additional learning support is available on request.

Intended Audience
The Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 4 RQF) qualification is ideal for individuals progressing from Level 3 and seeking a more advanced clinical role. This qualification is suitable for:
- Event medics progressing towards advanced roles
- Security and Close Protection Operatives
- High-risk industry workers (construction, power stations, manufacturing, industrial sites)
- Emergency or Community First Responders
- Those working towards positions such as Trainee Ambulance Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, or Event Emergency Medical Technician
- Personnel in remote, austere, or high-hazard environments
Course Overview
This comprehensive 5-day course aligns with the PHEM (Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine) Skills Framework at Descriptor Level E. It builds upon Level 3 knowledge and introduces more advanced assessments, decision-making, and clinical interventions for pre-hospital care.
The Qualsafe First Response Emergency Care (Level 4 RQF) qualification includes:
- Detailed patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Advanced airway management (including adjuncts and suction)
- Oxygen therapy and respiratory system management
- Recognition and management of major trauma
- Medical emergencies (cardiac, respiratory, neurological, endocrine and more)
- Shock, sepsis, and life-threatening illness pathways
- Paediatric considerations
- Mental health, stress, and crisis presentation awareness
- Extrication considerations and moving/carrying patients
- Incident management and structured communication
- A structured workbook and practical competency assessments
Payment & Cancellation Terms
By booking a course with JWC First Aid Ltd, you agree to the following terms:
- Deposits are non-refundable once a place is confirmed.
- Cancellations within 3 days of the course start date will not be eligible for a refund.
- Full course fees must be paid before attending, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Non-attendance on the day of the course is charged at 100% of the course fee.
- Course places are non-transferable without prior written agreement.
- Requests to transfer to another course date must be made more than 7 days in advance. Transfers within 7 days may incur an administration fee and depend on availability.
- If JWC First Aid Ltd cancels or reschedules, learners may choose a full refund or a free transfer to another date.
- Learners must ensure they meet all prerequisite requirements, including a valid FREC Level 3 certificate, before attending.
- Certificates will only be issued once full payment has been received and all course elements have been successfully completed.
