Training can be delivered at our dedicated training centre or at your workplace to minimise disruption and reduce travel costs. Additional learning support is available upon request.

The Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 3 RQF) qualification is suitable for individuals who are appointed as first aiders in low-risk workplaces, including:

Course Overview

This comprehensive 1-day course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage a range of emergency first-aid situations confidently.

The Qualsafe Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 3 RQF) course covers:

  • Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
  • Scene assessment and primary survey
  • CPR and safe use of an AED
  • Management of an unresponsive casualty
  • Choking casualty care
  • Seizure management
  • Control of bleeding (major and minor)
  • Shock recognition and treatment
  • Burns and scalds
  • Workplace incident reporting and RIDDOR requirements


Payment & Cancellation Terms

By booking a course with JWC First Aid Ltd, you agree to the following terms:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once a place is confirmed.
  • Cancellations within 3 days of the course start date are not eligible for a refund.
  • Full course fees must be paid prior to attendance, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Non-attendance on the day of the course is charged at 100% of the course fee.
  • Course places are non-transferable without prior written agreement.
  • Requests to transfer to another course date must be made more than 7 days in advance. Transfers within 7 days may incur an administration fee and depend on availability.
  • If JWC First Aid Ltd cancels or reschedules, learners may choose a full refund or a free transfer to an alternative date.
  • Learners must ensure they meet any prerequisite requirements before attending.
  • Certificates will only be issued once full payment has been received and all assessments are successfully completed.
