Course Overview


This engaging 1-day onsite course equips learners with the skills and confidence to manage emergency first-aid situations effectively until professional help arrives.

Training includes:

  • Roles and responsibilities of a workplace first aider
  • Scene assessment and the primary survey
  • CPR and safe use of an AED
  • Recovery position and unresponsive casualty management
  • Choking emergencies
  • Seizure management
  • Bleeding control (major and minor)
  • Shock recognition and treatment
  • Burns and scalds
  • Workplace regulatory requirements (RIDDOR and documentation)

Learners complete practical assessments and a multiple-choice exam to achieve certification.


Payment & Cancellation Terms

By booking an onsite course with JWC First Aid Ltd, you agree to the following:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once a course is confirmed.
  • Cancellations within 3 days of the course date are non-refundable.
  • Full fees must be paid prior to training, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Non-attendance is charged at 100% of the course fee.
  • Course places are non-transferable without written agreement.
  • Transfer requests must be made more than 7 days in advance.
  • If JWC First Aid cancels or reschedules, we offer a full refund or free transfer.
  • Certificates are issued once full payment is received and all assessments are completed.
