Course Overview


This in-depth 3-day onsite course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a wide range of workplace first-aid emergencies confidently and competently.

The Qualsafe First Aid at Work (Level 3 RQF) course covers:

  • Roles and responsibilities of a workplace first aider
  • Incident assessment, scene management, and safety
  • CPR and safe use of an AED
  • Primary & secondary survey
  • Management of an unresponsive casualty
  • Choking, seizures, and airway obstructions
  • Bleeding control (major and minor)
  • Shock, anaphylaxis, and catastrophic emergencies
  • Bone, joint, and muscle injuries
  • Head, spinal, chest, and abdominal trauma
  • Burns, scalds, and eye injuries
  • Medical emergencies (e.g., diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, cardiac events)
  • Recording incidents and RIDDOR requirements


Learners complete practical assessments and a written exam to achieve certification.


Payment & Cancellation Terms


By booking an onsite course with JWC First Aid Ltd, you agree to the following:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once a course date is confirmed.
  • Cancellations within 3 days of the course start date are non-refundable.
  • Full course fees must be paid prior to training, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Non-attendance is charged at 100% of the course fee.
  • Course places are non-transferable without prior written permission.
  • Requests to transfer to another date must be made more than 7 days in advance.
  • Transfers requested within 7 days may incur administration fees and depend on availability.
  • If JWC First Aid cancels or reschedules, learners may choose a full refund or a free transfer.
  • Certificates will be issued once all assessments are successfully completed and full payment has been received.
