Course description
Foundations - Speed, Turns & Multiple Threats — Beyond Concealed Carry CCW: Level 2 is an intermediate live fire course that builds on foundational concealed carry skills with focused instruction in movement, position transitions, and the effective use of cover. The program emphasizes safe, repeatable techniques for engaging multiple threats, moving under control, and presenting and firing from behind cover or improvised barricades. Instruction is delivered through structured drills and instructor feedback to accelerate skill acquisition and build practical proficiency.
What you will work on
- Identifying and prioritizing multiple threats while maintaining strict muzzle and trigger discipline.
- Executing controlled movement drills, including forward, lateral, and rearward movement, without sacrificing accuracy.
- Transitioning smoothly between standing and kneeling firing positions and regaining a stable sight picture.
- Moving to and establishing positions at cover or barricades to minimize exposure and maximize options.
- Presenting and engaging targets from cover with proper mechanics and controlled shot strings.
Prerequisites
Enrollment is restricted to individuals who have completed a basic CCW or Level 1 concealment course and who demonstrate safe, responsible firearm handling. Proof of prior training may be requested.
