ECA AML and Compliance Workshop 2026
The European Casino Association (ECA) is pleased to announce its 6th Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Compliance Workshop, scheduled for November 3-4, 2026. This pivotal event aims to address critical questions and topics surrounding the daily implementation of national AML regulations and other compliance matters in European casinos.
The workshop will provide an essential update on the current status of implementing new EU AML regulations and the progress in establishing the Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA). We're working to secure a Europol representative to offer a holistic view of Europe's ongoing fight against money laundering.
In addition to regulatory updates, the event will feature experts from various industries significantly impacted by AML regulations, fostering a comprehensive and diverse dialogue on this crucial issue.
A unique aspect of this year's workshop is the opportunity for participants from all countries to present brief updates on the developments in their respective nations since the last workshop in 2025. This exchange of information will provide invaluable insights into the evolving landscape of AML and compliance across Europe.
We're currently crafting the final program and invite your active participation. We encourage you to suggest topics you'd like to explore and discuss, making this a truly collaborative event. This is a unique opportunity to engage with AML regulations, share best practices, and contribute to shaping the future of AML protocols in the casino industry.
Practical Information:
- Accommodation: Rooms are available at a special rate. For hotel bookings at Casino 2000, please email n.vaz@casino2000.lu
- Workshop Fee: A fee of 120 euros will be collected to cover the F&B costs for the entire event.
- The workshop will start with a joint lunch at noon on November 4 and end at 2 PM on November 5 after a joint lunch.
We look forward to your participation and valuable contributions. Together, we can enhance the compliance posture of the European casino industry and protect our businesses in an increasingly digital world.
