Saratoga Joinery

All Saratoga Joinery members are invited to come to the shop for an expert-led presentation followed by open discussion and problem solving. Members are encouraged to bring questions and/or projects that they'd like to share or get assistance on.

• Topic: Hand Carving Fundamentals - Safety Coordinator and Class Instructor Mariah Day will lead this session on the essential techniques and tools of woodcarving. We'll explore basic cuts, grain direction, and tool handling. We'll also cover knife selection, sharpening basics, and safe carving practices.
