This half-day National Cohort Immunisations Update provides a focused review of adult and childhood vaccination programmes delivered within Primary Care.
The session is designed as an annual update for healthcare professionals who have previously completed a two-day immunisation foundation course and require regular updating in accordance with national guidance.
The course reflects the National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners and incorporates updates to vaccination schedules, current issues in immunisation practice and key safety considerations.
Participants will review vaccine storage and cold chain management, anaphylaxis recognition and response, and documentation requirements to support safe and compliant immunisation practice.
