Immunisation Update - Travel Health

Course Overview

This half-day Travel Vaccination Update provides a practical review of travel health risk assessment and vaccination planning for healthcare professionals involved in travel health consultations.

The session is suitable as a standalone course or as an optional add-on to immunisation update training. It focuses on strengthening risk assessment skills, reviewing travel vaccine schedules, and supporting clinicians in managing more complex travel scenarios within Primary Care.

Participants will revisit the principles of travel health consultations, including destination risk assessment, vaccine decision-making, malaria prevention and health promotion advice for non-vaccine preventable diseases.

The course emphasises safe practice, evidence-based guidance and collaborative discussion of real-world travel health cases.
