Our Focus:

You've been to a book club before, right?

If not, here's how it works:

1. We all meet up and pick a book to read as a group.
2. We scurry off to read said book.
3. We return to discuss the book together.
4. Repeat steps 1-3.

Our focus will be on non-fiction on the philosophy and how-to of kink, not a smut club. Related topics are also welcome, such as polyamory, queer theory, and sacred sexuality.

Think about this as your opportunity to read all the books you've been told you "should read" before getting into the community -- we'll all catch up together!

Our goal is to alternate monthly between "old books" (classic-but-dated) and "new books" (those books you may not have heard of yet).

By growing our collective body of knowledge, we hope to regain our connection to the kinky voices of the past while also looking forward to what the future holds.

This Month: Leather Mentorship by J. Tebias Perry

One of the few books on this topic, let's use this as a jumping-off point to discuss what we can do to find and our leather community.

If we like it, the same author apparently has a follow-up to this book on preorder! This is scheduled to release in January 2026.

Our Boundaries:

• Our subject matter is tasteful but always 18+
• Show up on time. Doors open 15 minutes prior to class start. Doors lock once the event begins. Late attendance not guaranteed.
• Do not share the address with non-attendees. Respect our privacy or you may be banned from future events.
• Keep RSVPs accurate. Our space is limited. Let us know if you are suddenly unable to attend.
• Our vibe is sacred. So are all forms of sexual and gender expression. Please treat both with respect.
• The form our bodies take are irrelevant to our inherent worth. Intolerance will be untolerated.
