This is 2 hours of private range coaching, plus the course required by the state to obtain a Texas License to Carry (“LTC”).

You will need approximately 100 rounds total; 50 for the coaching, and 50 for the LTC proficiency test.

Please ensure your first and last names are entered *exactly* as they appear on your driver's license. There will be approximately 4 hours of classroom time at Mendoza Mexican Grill in Bandera, followed by 2 hours of outdoor range time.

In the range portion, we will ensure you have the skills below.

1. Follow the four rules of firearm safety
2. Load your magazines
3. Safely operate your firearm
4. Be able to place a majority of 50 shots in a sheet of legal paper at distances of 9, 21, and 45 feet from a ready position under a slight time pressure.

After successfully completing the course, we’ll issue a Certificate of Training (LTC-104) that you can submit to the State to prove you have met the training requirement.
