Spiritual Life Writing In-Person Retreat May 29 - 31, 2026

“Stories have to be told, or they die. And when they die, we can’t remember who we are, or why we’re here.” -- Sue Monk Kidd, The Secret Life of Bees

Join us as we celebrate the power and beauty of storytelling to create community, to heal, and to help people’s stories come to light.

Slow down. Listen. Discover. Use your voice to release and heal.

Join us for a joyful weekend on Samish Island, an oasis of calm off the coast of Washington State, as we explore the call to work with stories. Storytelling is core to being human. The call to storytelling is an invitation to open up and let go of judgment—of ourselves and others. You will learn to discover, listen, and to share stories in ways that empower and heal. And you will learn how to use the companion art of spiritual life writing as a grounding practice to guide you in deepening this important calling.

$275 Canadian per person includes the Spiritual Life Writing Workbook, accommodations, meals, snacks and session supplies.

Friday May 29th to Sunday May 31st
