Intro to Stand Up is open to any students with or without prior Stand Up experience. This course will focus on helping students learn the art of stand up comedy, the different ways that improv can be used to help develop jokes, and working stage presence and delivery. This course will encourage students to work toward participation at Open Mic Night on Thursdays at the Wit Theater, so they can have out-of-the-classroom experience.

Students will work to actively prepare a 5 Minute set, that will be presented to family and friends during the final student showcase.
