Healthy Communities, Healthy Dreams — 2026 Statewide Service Event

Join us for this year’s statewide service initiative, Healthy Communities, Healthy Dreams, a collective effort to support individuals experiencing homelessness across the Commonwealth. This project focuses on distributing personal-care kits and offering basic health education or screenings (as available) at shelters and community sites in each region.

We invite Community Health Workers, Community Health Representatives (CHRs), and Promotores de Salud from all seven Virginia regions to participate. Space is limited to two representatives per region (maximum of 12 participants total), accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

All confirmed participants will receive a mailed care-kit package and resource bundle to support leading their local service activity on January 19th.
