The Family Academy Certification Program is a professional, train-the-trainer course designed to equip agency staff, wellness units, peer support teams, and family-engagement leaders with the knowledge, tools, and facilitation skills needed to confidently deliver Family Academy to law enforcement families.

This certification prepares instructors to teach practical modules that normalize the lifestyle, strengthen resilience, build communication and connection, and support families throughout the full law enforcement career cycle. Participants receive hands-on practice, customizable curriculum, and lifetime access to Beyond the Badge tools, worksheets, and support.

By the end of the certification, instructors are fully prepared to implement Family Academy as a welcoming, scalable, agency-specific program that supports recruiting, retention, officer wellness, and family engagement utilizing the 10 provided module-based training materials.
