This training provides peer support workers with practical skills to effectively advocate with the individuals they serve while empowering self-advocacy and personal autonomy. Participants will explore the the steps of advocacy, from identifying issues and listening with empathy to building action plans, navigating resources, and supporting others in communicating their needs

- Define advocacy in the context of peer support

- Collaboratively clarify a peer’s goals
- Create a simple, step-by-step advocacy plan.
