Please join us to familiarize (or refamiliarize!) yourself with the Norquay clinic layout and procedures, and practice filing client taxes with support from CFCS Taxes and Benefits staff.
You will:
- Learn / review how a typical day runs at the tax clinic;
- Meet the volunteers who will be working alongside you on your chosen day of the week;
- Chat with CFCS staff, and have the opportunity to ask all your questions;
- Practice some real tax filing cases, without any clients present, and with full support from CFCS staff
And most importantly... enjoy a pizza lunch on us!
Attendance is mandatory. We look forward to seeing you there, and to working with you during the 2026 tax season.
*Please keep your parking or bus ticket receipts for reimbursement. CFCS will reimburse parking cost up to $16. Convenient options include Impark Lot #85 (180 Kennedy St) and the (former) Hudson's Bay parkade (285 Memorial Blvd).
