Family Day Cultural Dance Sampler - “Stir the Pot”.

Session #3 - 3:00 pm to 3:45 pm

Join us at the RCA as part of the Cultural District Family Program Series, Celebrating Kelowna Heritage Week “Stir the Pot!”

This 45-minute Cultural Dance Program invites participants to explore the art of circular and stirring movements through the dances of three unique cultures: Egypt, Hawaii ‘i, and India! Families enjoy three 15-minute dance samplings, each led by a cultural dance instructor. Participants will discover how circular motions, central to cooking, storytelling, and traditional practice are expressed through dance and each style highlights how food, community, and culture are deeply intertwined. Join in and celebrate family day by dancing together.

Come stir up some fun and experience the world, one circle at a time!

This is a free event, donations accepted.
