- Saturday, June 27th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Members $36 Non-members $56
Material fee:
- $10 for fiber to be paid to the Instructor to cover fiber and basic spindle.
- Students may purchase a different spindle and 4 oz of roving for $20.
Registration opens at 12:00 pm (noon): Tuesday, April 28th
Registration deadline: Saturday, June 13th

Description
Learn to make yarn on a hand spindle, an ancient tool that’s still in use. The combination of a spindle’s portability and its ability to make very fine and very thick yarns make it a viable choice for modern spinning.
Instructor will provide basic spindles and fiber for students to use. For those who would like to continue spinning, you will have the option to purchase a spindle and 4 oz of roving from the Instructor on the registration form.
Prerequisites for participants
- No spinning experience is required.
Materials to be provided/Additional instructions for students:
- Please bring a lunch or snack if you would like. Access to a refrigerator and microwave are available in the building.

Instructor will provide spindles and fiber for use in the class.
