The International Young Composers Academy in Ticino aims to strengthen collaboration between composers, performers, and ensembles. **Description** • world premieres of participants’ works by Ensemble Intercontemporain • individual lessons with faculty composers and conductor • masterclasses with the ensemble in residence • lectures, seminars by faculty & guest composers + participants’ showcase Selected participants will be able to compose new works to be premiered in Ticino. Each participant will benefit from dedicated and coached rehearsals and individual lessons. Faculty composers will hold lectures, and each participant will have the chance to present their work publicly. A roster of further renowned composers will contribute to the Academy.
