POSITIVE CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT THROUGH MUSIC: A FOUR-SESSION WORKSHOP

**Course Prerequisite: Total Beginner Uke taken prior to or concurrent with this workshop **

This four-session workshop gives teachers tools for helping children identify and voice their feelings in a productive manner. Using tunes from the Second Step curriculum, teachers will have the opportunity to learn to play and sing the songs, as well as song-write to fit the needs of your students. Join us as we explore skills for learning, empathy, emotion management, friendship skills and problem solving. Familiarity with simple chords using the open tuning method is helpful, but not required.

All classes in this series will be taught from 4-5 pm PT / 5-6 pm MT / 6-7 pm CT / 7-8 pm ET.
