Guidelines:

  • One parent/guardian must be present per every three children attending. (1:3 ratio)
  • If a young person requires additional assistance due to special needs, a parent must be designated for the student. (1:1 ratio)
  • If public schools are closed due to weather conditions, CFSOTA will also be closed for morning classes or for the entire day depending on conditions. A make-up class will be arranged between the instructor and the home school.
  • The studios are to be treated as classrooms. Roughhousing will result in a child not being allowed to participate in the remainder of class and will need to be picked up by the parent or guardian. Repeat behavioral issues will result in the student being asked to not return. Refunds due to behavior will not be provided.
  • Supervising parents must remain until all students are picked up.
  • Students are to be dropped off and picked up at the front of the school. For the safety of all, a sign-in and sign-out sheet will be in the office and must be signed by a designee for the child.
  • Students arriving early will need to sit in the library next to the office until they are escorted to the studio in which they will be taking a class in.
  • The Creation Station will be set up and open to all students and parents. The cost is $5.00 per family per visit.
  • No child under the age of 18 may use power tools at any point during these classes, in accordance to state law.
