CWIT Gender Based Violence: Understanding the Intersections
This training provides a trauma-informed framework to front line workers to help deepen their understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking, and explore their intersections. Participants will understand how these forms of violence often overlap and learn about survivor-centered and anti-oppressive strategies for an effective response to gender-based violence. This is a free, 2-hour group training, available virtually or in person, in Spanish or English, and offering 2 Social Work CEUs. This opportunity also includes 6 months of free, ongoing technical assistance. It is open to all front-line staff across sectors that are members of an organization. Organization must be based in or serve clients in the city of Chicago.
