Bold Colour, Gentle Guidance, Embracing Imperfection – Unlock Your Inner Matisse

Paint Like... Matisse! is a playful, relaxing Saturday-afternoon class where you explore bold colours, simple shapes and expressive lines. Through this class, learn how to paint with acrylics, how to mix colours (and get the colour you want finally!), how to create depth and just enjoy the process. You will create your very own painting and composition in Henri Matisse's fauvist or expressionist style!

No prior experience needed.

What is included?

All material (premium acrylic paints, a canvas, brushes etc.) as well as unlimited drinks and light snacks.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be advised that acrylic colours are not the easiest to wash from clothing! An apron is provided for you to use on site, however, we recommend you not to come in the finest clothing - or to bring some extra protective clothing! ☺️

What will I take home?

At the end of the class, you will have a finished painting to take home with you. Please note, sometimes acrylics take a bit longer to dry depending on the thickness, so the painting may remain at the studio for you to pick it up at a later date if you wish.

I'm unsure about my level, is this class for me?

All levels welcome! We created a space for you to enjoy and have fun in creating and switch off from screens and consuming for a bit, so our classes are adjusted to total newcomers.

Language of instruction

The session is instructed in German or English, or a nice mixture of both.
