Throwing Plates, 2 classes of Instruction

*Experience required, students must know how to center 3-4lbs of clay.

In this workshop students will learn the foundation of throwing plates on the pottery wheel. The instructor will demonstrate methods on throwing plates and what techniques and tools will increase the success rate. In the second class of instruction, students will learn trimming techniques and tips. Glazing instruction is not included in this workshop but included in the price. Students can return to the studio during open studio hours to glaze their plates once they have been bisque fired.

Minimum age is 16.
