Weekly Empathy Calls
As humans, we thrive by sharing the deeply-held truths we each hold inside, big and small, profound and mundane.
Empathetic listening supports us to share by providing a sense of safety that we will be received with dignity and care.
We use the principles and practices of Nonviolent Communication as a foundation for presence when listening and responding to each other.
In one hour’s time, your Empathy Call Host will invite you to be seen and heard in community with a centering process, followed by brief individual check-ins into the group space.
After check-ins, there is a 20–25 minute empathetic listening practice in pairs.
We end with a brief group check-out.
Offered Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays at noon Eastern Time
*Empathy Calls are peer support and are not a substitute for medical or therapeutic counseling.
