Stephanie Bernard, EdD, PA-C, RD
Dr. Stephanie Bernard used her sabbatical to author Greens Are Free, a long-envisioned book that brings her passion for nutrition to life. Blending science-backed advice with heart, humor, and clarity, Greens Are Free offers a refreshing, empowering approach to healthy eating—one rooted in abundance, not restriction. Designed to be practical, accessible, and sustainable for all, the book transforms evidence-based guidance into simple, joyful habits for everyday living.
Callie Victor, PhD, Associate Professor, MSOT Loudoun Program Director
During my sabbatical, I focused on scholarly dissemination, submitting five manuscripts and two presentations. This work resulted in four publications and one presentation. While my original project is still in progress, the sabbatical provided valuable momentum for my ongoing scholarship.
Now in its second year, the SU Scholar Series features short presentations by faculty on their sabbatical projects, recent publications, work completed as TTL Fellows, and other scholarly projects. SU Scholar Series is sponsored by SU Libraries and the Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning.
