Join author Lindsey Jai for this special Youth Week offering: Creative Writing for MIDDLE SCHOOLERS!
We'll explore the fundamentals of storytelling including story structure, creating characters your readers will root for, and choosing the perfect point of view for your novel. Our session will be a blend of guided lessons and interactive activities to spark your imagination. You'll gain practical skills for plotting your novel and find the inspiration to continue your writing journey. A Q&A portion will provide the opportunity to receive feedback on your specific writing questions. You are encouraged to bring your story ideas, works-in-progress, or simply an open mind. All experience levels are welcome!
Students should bring their own laptop or notebook to use for the majority of the course.
