For teens 14-18

Through a combination of guided sketching exercises, students will develop their ability to capture movement, structure, and expression in the human figure. The class will explore a range of drawing approaches, from quick gestural sketches to more refined figure studies using materials such as charcoal. Emphasis will be placed on observation, dynamic mark-making, proportion, and the use of light and shadow to bring figures to life on the page.

By the end of the course, students will have a stronger understanding of the human form and increased confidence in expressing it through drawing. This class provides foundational tools and creative exploration to help students develop their own artistic voice.
