For teens 14-18

Through guided painting exercises, students will develop their ability to capture movement, structure, and expression in the human figure using paint. The class will explore foundational figure painting approaches, including working from a reference image, building form with color and value, and developing expressive brushwork. Emphasis will be placed on observation, proportion, and the use of light and shadow to bring figures to life on the canvas.

By the end of the course, students will have a stronger understanding of the human form and increased confidence in expressing it through painting. This class offers foundational skills and creative exploration to help young artists develop their own artistic voice.
