Fashion Summer Camp meets Fashion Lab Days - July Edition
Pick 1 day… or build your own 2, 3, 4, or 5-day experience | July 6–10 | Ages 7–13 | Downtown Studio
What if your child could open their closet and see possibilities instead of “I have nothing to wear”?
This week is a creativity playground: kids bring one garment per day (a tee, hoodie, jeans, dress—anything wearable) and we help them transform it into something personal, and truly theirs.
Campers will receive an invitation to return for our End-of-Summer Runway Show at CCAD (late August)—a joyful celebration of creativity, courage, and self-expression. Participation is optional, and the runway participant fee is already included in your camp tuition. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to attend and cheer them on.

What makes this camp different
  • Flexible like a buffet: choose the days that work for your family (1–5 days).
  • “Closet to creation” concept: each day starts with one piece from home + ends with a “WOW, I made this!” moment.
  • Our Archives = your child’s treasure chest: we pull clothes from our curated collection/archives for kids to add details, layers, and surprise elements.
  • Everything needed is included: fabrics, machines, tools, trims, embellishments, inspiration, and guided support—so your child can dream big without you shopping for supplies.
  • Boutique-size groups: high support, lots of personal attention, real friendships.

What kids will actually do (and love)
Kids will explore a mix of:
  • Upcycling + design thinking (turn “old” into “one-of-a-kind”)
  • Hand-sewing and Machine-sewing + beginner hand embroidery options
  • Embellishment stations (patches, fabrics, trims, texture, sparkle, paint, collage-style details)
  • Creative confidence skills (making choices, trusting their taste, speaking up for their ideas)
  • Leadership communication skills (working with others, negotiating, listening to others, sharing concepts etc)
Every day has that Fashion Lab energy: hands-on, playful, focused, and full of discovery.
