Welcome to OSUD’s Podorozh! Programme Registration (January 2026 start) for 2025-2026!

The Ottawa School of Ukrainian Dance provides dance training to students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds. Podorozh! classes are designed for adults 18 years of age and up.

The School’s motto is “Ukrainian dance for all!”

Classes are designed to encourage students to work to their full potential. OSUD’s faculty is comprised of experienced, professionally-trained teachers dedicated to providing caring and quality instruction. OSUD carries strong commitment to the creativity and discipline of dance, as well as to the development of original choreography. Classes are held in the professional studios of The School of Dance at 200 Crichton Street, Ottawa.

Podorozh! Intro to Ukrainian Dance: This non-performing class is for adults with minimal or no previous dance training. Class activities include warm-ups, Ukrainian dance technique, sequences, and a cool-down. Central and regional character and movements are explored.

Podorozh! Intro to Ukrainian Dance + Choreography: This class is for adults with minimal or no previous dance training. Class activities include warm-ups, Ukrainian dance technique, sequences, and choreography. Students participate in the December Winter Celebration and the School's year-end concert.

Podorozh! Experienced: This class is for adults with a minimum of one year of structured dance training. Challenging and exciting classes focus on warm-ups, Ukrainian dance technique, and choreography. Students participate in the December Winter Celebration and the School's year-end concert.
