Security Guard Firearms Training

This course is designed for security professionals seeking firearms certification. Training includes both a required online portion and an in-person range session. Please follow the steps below:

Step 1 – Register

Complete your registration for the course and select your training date and time.

Step 2 – Complete the Online Training

After registering, you will receive a link to the mandatory online training. This training must be completed before attending the in-person session, and proof of completion is required.

Armed Security Professional Certification Test Instructions

Denver | Colorado Springs | Pueblo

• This is an open-book test.
• You may take the test as many times as needed in order to achieve a passing score.
• Successful completion of this test is honored for Armed Security Professional Certifications in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo.

Step 3 – Attend the In-Person Training

On your scheduled date and time, report to:

After Completion

• Once you pass, you will automatically receive a certificate by email.
• Bring that certificate as proof of completion to your scheduled range portion of training.
• After the range portion, you will receive all three certificates (Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo) as needed by you or your organization.

Bring proof of your completed online training and the required equipment listed below.

• Proof of online training completion
• Pen and notebook for notes
• Firearm (unloaded and cased)
• Eye and ear protection
• Ammunition (as specified in your confirmation)
• Any additional gear required for your role as a security professional

• Rescheduling requests must be made prior to your scheduled class date.
• No-shows will forfeit their registration.
