One Time Class, Handbuild a Coil Serving Bowl

Handbuild a Coil Serving Bowl!

Students will learn coiling techniques to build a beautiful coil serving bowl. Rolling snake like ropes is one of the oldest pottery techniques. By using the coil method, it allows students to build small or large and be creative with their design. An instructor will guide you through this process. At the end of class, students will select a glaze for the instructor to glaze their pieces with. Pottery will be ready for pickup 4-5 weeks later.

Minimum age is 14, children 12-14 can sign up for this class when attending with a parent/guardian.

Finished pieces take up to 4-5 weeks. NW Ceramics will email students when ceramics are done and ready for pickup. Due to limited storage space, we can only hold pottery for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks (from the date we notify that your pottery is done and ready for pickup) we will have to discard your pieces.
