Next-Level Hand-building: A 6-Week Creative Clay Adventure

Ready to level up your clay game? This 6-week handbuilding class is designed for artists who already feel confident with the basics and are excited to stretch their skills, try bold ideas, and make pieces that feel uniquely you.

Each week, we’ll dive into a new challenge—think sculptural vessels, lidded creations, larger builds, and playful mixed-technique projects. You’ll experiment with advanced slab and coil work, clever construction tricks, and fun surface techniques that help your pieces come to life.

Expect plenty of hands-on guidance, creative prompts, and time to explore your own ideas. It’s the perfect blend of skill-building and artistic freedom—where you can take risks, try weird (and wonderful!) concepts, and sharpen your style in a supportive, clay-loving community.

Students must be 18 years or older. Some exceptions can be made. Contact Delores with requests before registering your child.

We do not offer personal make up days since all of our classes are full.Typically instructors repeat lessons so if you miss one week you'll have the demo next time. We also offer open studio, access to the studio on the weekends and some weekday options for students to come in and practice.
