Seaview Caravan Park, Weymouth Aug Bank Holiday 2026

Join us this August Bank Holiday weekend at Seaview Caravan Park, just outside Weymouth (Dorset). From here we will be able to explore the local hills as well as enjoy the Dorset coastal scenery. There will be an afternoon walk on the Friday for those who can get there in time, full day walks on Saturday and Sunday, and a half-day walk on Monday finishing by about 2pm to give a chance to get home in good time. From our location we should be able to include places like Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Osmington Mills and Osmington White Horse, the South Dorset Ridgeway, and Abbotsbury, with opportunities for swimming most days.

We have booked 4 caravans, each with one double and two twin rooms. Unless married couples wish to book then these rooms will all be for single occupancy. The caravans have a well-equipped kitchen area with fridge and cooker, and a generous lounge space. They include a shower room and separate toilet, and full central heating (although it is unlikely that this will be needed in August). Bedding is provided but you will need to bring your own towels.

It is suggested that those attending bring their own foodstuffs for breakfast and packed lunches, with one person in each caravan co-ordinating general supplies (tea, coffee, milk etc.). On a previous similar event we had two caravans each hosting an evening meal for one of the other caravans one evening, and then being returned the favour on the 2^nd evening. This worked well. On the 3^rd evening there will be the opportunity to eat out.
