Get cozy with your very own homemade pajama bottoms!

This class is for kids who have taken my Intro to Sewing course or have equivalent experience. Class will be four weeks long and the cost for the class is $120. **You will need to provide the materials**, which I have listed below. For an optional $15 fee I will purchase the materials for your child - it will most likely be a gender neutral flannel or cotton.

I will only have boy or girl sizes for this project. The sizes are 8, 10, 12 and 14. If your child would like to make a pair of adult pants for someone they will need to bring their own pattern and the correct amount of fabric and elastic for the adult size.

To know what size your child is, please measure the widest part of their hips and use the chart below to find the best fit:

Size 8 = 27”

Size 10 = 28.5”

Size 12 = 26.5”

Size 14 = 32”

If your child is larger than these sizes he or she will need to provide their own pattern in the correct size.

Materials for class include:

-Flannel fabric (cotton can also be used). DO NOT USE FLEECE OR ULTRA CUDDLE FABRICS!! PLEASE USE ONLY FLANNEL OR COTTON **Please wash your fabric before class! See sizes below

size 8 needs 1 7/8 yards (one and seven eighths)

size 10 needs 2 yards

size 12 needs 2 1/4 yards (two and one quarter)

size 14 needs 2 5/8 yards (two and five eighths)

-thread to match your fabric

-1 yard of 3/4" elastic

Class will be held at 210 S Main Street in Springboro. I am located above Chasing Light Art Studio. There is parking in the front and limited parking in the alley behind the house. Some classes may be cancelled or postponed if not enough students enroll. If your child is not feeling well please do not bring them to class and contact me so that we can find a time for a makeup class. My teaching schedule is limited but I will do my best to find a way for your child to make up a missed class. If students finish the project early they are welcome to "free sew" which means they can use my scrap fabric to sew their own creations.
