Gynaecology for Nurses and AHP's: A Life Course Approach

Course Overview

This CPD accredited full-day Gynaecology course is designed for healthcare professionals working in Primary Care who wish to develop their knowledge and confidence in managing common gynaecological presentations across the life course. Using a structured, case-based approach, the course follows a fictional patient journey from adolescence through to older age, exploring key aspects of gynaecological health, contraception, fertility, menopause, and women’s health consultations.

The course provides a comprehensive, evidence-based overview of common gynaecological conditions, supporting participants to recognise presentations, conduct appropriate assessment, and understand management options within Primary Care. Particular emphasis is placed on applying current NICE, CoSRH, RCOG, and BMS guidance, supporting safe clinical decision-making and appropriate referral.
