JAD Dryland

Dryland training is very beneficial to divers, helping them improve their skill level dramatically. At dryland, divers will have the opportunity to use equipment such as our dryboards and trampolines to work on all aspects of their dives. It also gives divers an opportunity to focus on their technique with assistance as appropriate. Physical training is an important aspect of dryland training. Divers work on increasing and maintaining their flexibility as well as improving their physical fitness, focusing on the muscle groups used by divers.

Divers must be registered in a JAD pool class in order to take this dryland class.

Monday Dryland classes from 4:30pm-6:30pm, February 9 to April 13 inclusive. NO CLASSES February 16 (Family Day) & March 16 (March Break)

In addition, there is a recreational diver insurance fee payable directly to Diving Canada/Dive Ontario (approx. $35, but subject to change). Families MUST register their diver as a KW Diving Club "club member", and "recreational athlete/recreational diver/diver recreational", in the H2OReg system, and pay the DPC/DO insurance fee directly through the systemThis must be done prior to their first class, or your diver will not be allowed to participate until this registration is complete. The link into H2OReg for the 2025-26 season will be emailed to only those families who have yet to register for the 2025-2026 season.
